May We Be Wise

I have a favorite Christmas book by George Durrant entitled "Don't Forget the Star".  I'm reminded of that same sentiment in this beautiful message:  "May we, as did the Wise Men, seek a bright, particular star to guide us in our celebration of the Savior's birth."

Without Toys for Christmas

Christmas began with a baby; no toys, no tinsel, no ornaments or stockings.

How can we get back to the true celebration of His birth and let its significance seek deep into our souls?

Let us remember Him this season.  Let us fill our hearts with His light and love as we show kindness to those around us.  It's not about the toys and tinsel - its about the Birth.

Silent Night, Holy Night

Let us be calm.  Let Him, who came to earth to bring comfort and peace to the weary, heal our troubled souls.  Let Him in.  He was born one Silent and Holy Night.  Let us be silent that we may feel of His holiness.

Glitter of Season of Prince of Peace?

May we never let the glitter of the season remove from us the real reason we celebrate.  It's all about Him; the Prince of Peace, King of Kings, Lord of Lords.
